Shelter Canyon farms located in the heart of Santa Barbara County is a 3/4 acre no-dig vegetable operation. Incorporated into the garden is a diverse array of fruit and berry crop as well as a fully protected chicken run, with an emphasis on a deep litter bedding system for compost production and the highest standard of living conditions for the hens. The exterior planting consists of California natives for the highest level of ecological function as well as aesthetics.
